Testing!

Since I didn't post about it, I will pull up an old picture and say Welcome to the family, Princess Matilda "I'm a bad Pug" Morency. May you always find enough pig's ears and cat butts in our home. She came home the night before Thanksgiving, 2004 and spent the next 24 hours sleeping. She's just as bad as any pug cept I really do think she thinks she's a cat. Who's to blame her, he's the only other thing she knows... Okay... I'm not going to overpost everything in one day.. slowly but surely we'll be "updated daily".

Oh how sad, it's been so long since I've posted but if this flickr thing works it might be a little easier... I'll try to return later with an update of the last year or 10 months or so.

August was very eventful! We bought our house on the 9th and moved in that very night. We had to go to the old apartment to shower for the next few days but turned in the keys and had one home on that sunday. Unpacked and clean, our home is wonderful to live in.. The neighbors are nice (even if they're nosey) and I still love the house and the neighborhood. Still waiting for buyer's remorse to kick in but it hasn't. The house is as wonderful as the day we first saw it.

Work is still good. We're very slow this week so I'm sitting here at 9:30am writing cuz there's no work! If it keeps up I'm leaving at 3 to go home and get a new guest bed. Rob was in a really cranky mood when I called him a little while ago so I'm kinda nervous. He should know better than to put me in this state.

July was pretty uneventful, thanks to the bank (see house blog). We had a decent weekend last weekend even if the unscheduled Rob had to go to work anyway. Very annoying. We saw the Village (which was pretty lame since I guessed it without even wanting to) and Spiderman 2 with Bourne Supremacy at the drive in. Was great cept for the jerk in the next car needing ac in a nice cool 70 degree night. Running your car for 5 hours with the A/C on will not make your car silent. *grumble* We had House of Poon with John and Karen before we saw the Village and all was pretty nice. Other than that, Rob worked most weekends. We did a little garage sale-ing in July too and now we both have 19 inch monitors and a 17 inch backup! Now to get Rob to get rid of the 14 inch and maybe the 15 inch. *yeah, right*

Okay, that's pretty much it. We're packing and packing some more and still aren't done. It will never end!

I forgot to mention Dimitri died one week ago today :( It is still very sad for me to think about :( The shelf is awful quiet where he used to live and everytime I find myself cutting up vegetables I get a thought to make sure I save some for him... sniff.

Jeff and Trisha came over for chicken sausage ziti with garlic bread and salad and brought a strawberry shortcake thing with them. All was fun even if we did play uber cheesy games. Here's Jeff's new thing for me to play with at work or something.

Speaking of work.. all's going well. I get a 4 day weekend this weekend.. probably my last day off til Labor day unless I take a day off or something... Bummer.
